The monitoring program collects data about a number of important parameters related to ecosystem health. These parameters are grouped into three categories: water quality, benthic habitat, and associated biological communities. The methods utilized to asses these parameters are not novel and have proven economical, efficient, and successful on Guam and in other jurisdictions.
